FAN STORY: Japanese fan Okku
Okku is the president of the Penya VCF Nippon, and before the COVID-19 pandemic he used to visit Mestalla during the year to watch Valencia CF games in person. However, he has not been able to do this for over a year, due to travel and attendance measures.
Despite this, he follows the club from afar, and sent a message to VCF Media about how he is providing his support from Japan.
"We live with wearing a mask. In Japan, nothing is being prohibited, but we avoid going out as much as possible -and when we go out we always do so wearing a mask," explains Okku.
"Visiting Mestalla is always special for me, but now I can't do it because of the pandemic, so I am following Valencia CF on the television and dreaming of going back there."
